Eugenia's story

Eugenia is 42 and lives in her own house with her five dear children and husband Arturo, 46, who supports her in the worst times. Eugenia is a woman whose passion is working the land in order to grow coffee plants. Her reason she does all this work is so that she can provide a better quality of life for her children.

Eugenia managed with her husbands help, to acquire five hectares of coffee plantation 20 years ago, and now they are proving to be very productive. In time, she hopes to acquire even more coffee plantations, since at harvest time, they reward her very well with their crops.

With the loan applied for, she will be able to maintain her plantation. This will be her 6th loan with MFP, so she promises to meet her repayment obligations.

In addition, she emphasizes the value of communal bank, because of the truthfulness and honesty of each one of the members.

With the 2,000 nuevos soles, she will invest in the improvement of her coffee plantings by buying fertilizers and agricultural supplies, with the aim of improving her production.
