Sop Mamadou Group's story

The solidarity group Sop Mamadou was created on 27 December 2010 and comprises six women who come from the same area and all run businesses.

Ms. Ndické, the group leader, is a married mother of two children. She has a restaurant at the local bus station and has run this business for over ten years with good experience. In the photo, she is standing on the right, covered by a white shawl.

With her loan, she hopes to buy foodstuffs for her restaurant, where she mainly sells breakfast meals.

With her profits, she helps her husband in paying for the family's daily expenses, and also intends to build up a good amount of savings.

In this group: Awa, Ndicke, Fatou, Fama, Mareme, Aminata, Ndeye Farmata, Mariama, Fatou, Fatoumata
