A loan helped to buy car keys, tires, and grease.

Jaime Eduardo's story

42-year old Sr. Jaime is married and has two children. He has struggled greatly to help his family get ahead. For approximately one year he worked as an airplane mechanic in the United States, but then returned to El Salvador where to took an automotive mechanic course in the capital city. Ever since that time he has been working as an automotive mechanic.

Jaime travels to the city which is four hours away from his home to buy tires, grease, oil etc. to sell to his customers. He is seeking a loan from the Campo Foundation to buy different sizes of car keys, tires, and grease as his business lacks these items. He started the business two months ago in rented premises and he still lacks some tools. With the new purchases he will be able to provide better service to his customers and earn more money so he can continue with the business. Jaime wishes to provide his children with a good education so that they can get good jobs.
