Hawanatu's story

This is 36-year-old Hawanatu. She is married, and has three children, age 5, 8 and 15 years.

In 2002, Hawanatu established her used bras, briefs and head dresses business. She began her business to assist her husband who is also in a similar business. She transacts business with women, selecting different types of women's wear. Working seven days a week and eight hours a day, she earns about 1,600,000 SLL every month from this business. She would like a loan in the amount of 5,000,000 SLL.

Hawanatu has already received and successfully repaid one loan. Now she requires a new loan in order to buy more bras, briefs and head dresses for her business.

She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profits by approximately 350,000 SLL.

In the future, Hawanatu plans to expand her business to the other areas in the town and support her husband build a dwelling house for their family. She thanks you for your support.
