A loan helped buy new clothes for her store such as blouses, skirts, shirts, pants, jeans, and clothing for children.

Ana Julia's story

Ana Julia is 42 years old. She has been married since the age of 16. She has 3 kids that are 10, 12 and 15 years old who are in school. She lives in a neighborhood called San Manuel Cortes. Her husband works in maintenance for a private company

Ana Julia is a very hard working woman. She has been selling clothing such as shirts, blouses, jeans and pants for 15 years. Before that she worked for a private company but decided to dedicate herself to selling clothing because she receives a better income.

She began her business with her own capital. She has received two loans from ODEF to increase her business inventory. With this loan she will obtain more clothing such as blouses, skirts, jeans, pants and clothing for children. She sells from her home and also door to door.

Her dream is to open a store in the market of San Pedro Sula where she could increase her sales.
