A loan helped to purchase seed, fertilizer and pesticide to maintain her farm and buy weaving materials for her weaving business.


Srauy's story

Srauy (in the photo) and her husband, Po are farmers. They grow papaya, eggplant and other vegetables on their farmland in the village where they live. In addition, Srauy is also a weaver. They live in a small village across the Mekong River about 20 kilometers from Phnom Penh City.

Srauy is asking for a loan in the amount of $1,200 to purchase seed, fertilizer and pesticide to maintain her farm. She will also use a part of the loan to buy weaving materials for her weaving business.
