A loan helped a member to buy polo shirts, sweaters, and baby blankets.

Mujeres Exitosas Group's story

The “Mujeres Exitosas” communal bank is maD. up of seven members, who are enthusiastic about starting to work with the Prosperidad program. Flora is one of the group members. She is 53, single, and has no children.

Currently, Flora sells baby clothing in the street, which she has been doing for 12 years. This business has allowed Flora to raise her nephews. After the death of her sister, her two nephews were left in her care, and she has provided them with education and a mother's love.

She applied for the loan to invest in her business, buying polo shirts, sweaters, and baby blankets. Flora's greatest desire is to have her own shop where she can sell her clothing, and continue supporting her nephews, who have been her reason for moving forward.

The "Mujeres Exitosas" communal bank is grateful for the loan they have been provided, and are committed to working well with the Prosperidad program.

Flora is shown in photo wearing a red blouse.
