A loan helped to pay for clothing materials.

Fatmata's story

This is 32-year-old Fatmata. She is married, and has 4 children aged 17, 14, 8 and 5 years. In 2008, Fatmata established her clothing business. She began her business by selling door-to-door and now has a stall, choosing dresses for customers. Working six days a week and 10 hours a day, she earns about 1,500,000 Sierra Leone leones (Le) every month from this business.

She would like a loan in the amount of Le 5,000,000. Fatmata has already received and successfully repaid two loans, and now requires a new loan in order to improve the stock, buying trimmings, linens, ribbons and zippers. She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profits by approximately Le 300,000. In the future, Fatmata plans to own a shop with a door rather than a stall. She thinks the loan will help to improve her family's lives. The previous loans also helped her to add on to her stock and to make more profit. She thanks you for your support.
