Jeffrey's story

Jeffrey is 46 years old, married, and has operated his restaurant for almost 20 years. Early in the morning, he cooks and prepares daily meals to sell in his restaurant. He operates his food stall at the nearby school cooking suitable meals for the students. In this kind of business, he usually generates an income of about P20,000 each month. The profits earned go for school fees for his two children. Other parts of the income are used as revolving capital for the business and enable him to continuously operate the business.

He is now requesting an additional capital of P30,000 to buy pork meat, vegetables, sugars, cooking oil, onions and garlic as ingredients in cooking meals to sell in his restaurant.

Jeffrey would like to prepare more food to sell and keep making better sales to save enough money for the education of his children. He wants to continuously provide a good education for them so that someday they will find good employment.
