A loan helped to purchase feed for pigs and cows.

Valerik's story

Valerik lives in the village of Shaumiani. He is 30 years old and lives with his wife, Shushanik, his 14-year-old son, his 13-year-old daughter, and his parents. Shushanik is a housewife. Valerik is leading the agricultural business of the family. He has ten pigs and cows. He sells piglets locally, as well as dairy products. Valerik and his father also work as tinsmiths, making tin ovens which are widely used in nearby villages in greenhouses during the fall and winter months. The total average monthly income of the family is 1500 laris.

Valerik requested a loan to purchase feed for his pigs and cows for the fall and winter months. He will feed the domestic animals well during the fall and winter and get quality milk and piglets, which will be sold for a convenient price. The family will get a planned amount of income, part of which will be used for covering the loan and the remainder of which will be spent on improving the family's living conditions.
