A loan helped to purchase bundles of shoes for resale.

Halima's story

Halima is a single woman with three children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees.

For the past four years, she has operated a shoe business, selling from home to her neighbours and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her place of operation. Halima dreams of establishing a stall to sell her products in the future.

With the Kshs 20,000 she wants to purchase bundles of shoes for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
