A loan helped to purchase construction materials for finishing his house.

Luis Guillermo's story

Luis is a 21-year-old gentleman who lives with his family in a community called San Francisco de La Palma, which is located in San Carlos in Alajuela Province. This rural community has great potential for development since there are already existing businesses tied to agriculture, such as raising cattle, and available community services. There is also opportunity for small retailers, microenterprises, and other ventures.

Luis recently had to delay the construction of his home because he does not have enough money to continue. At the moment, he is requesting a microloan in the amount of 600,000 CRC in order to buy more wood and materials to finish the construction of his house so that he can live in it and have a decent and peaceful life.

With this investment, he hopes that his family will have stability. All of this assistance will improve his living conditions so that Luis and his loved ones can move forward and grow as a family.

Luis is a member of the Communal Credit Enterprise of San Francisco de La Palma, one of the 110 member organizations that make up EDESA in Costa Rica. This will be his first loan and he hopes to continue growing on a personal and financial level. In addition, he will be an active participant in his local credit organization.
