Uhuru's story

Uhuru is a married man with three children, all of whom attend school. He owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. His greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

For the past 10 years, he has operated a farming business, selling farm produce at the market and from home to his neighbors and passersby. He faces a major challenge of theft in his business. He dreams of establishing a larger farm in the future.

With the KSHS 20,000, he wants to purchase maize seeds and manure for planting. He decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost his business.
