Ruth sells groceries. She also has a bakery - cake shop. Her first loan was for 300 Peruvian soles and she invested that money in her grocery store business.

Ruth will use this new loan for 1,500 soles to invest in buying four 100lb bags of flour, and butter. She tells us that she sells and delivers bread every day. Her husband, who is a teacher, helps her in the business.

Ruth's dreams are to own her own home, to own a car and to get ahead in her business.

What Ruth likes about her community bank are the internal account loans, the savings and the interest she makes.
