Clementino, 39, is married to Blanca, 30. He lives in his own house. He’s been an auto detailer and painter for over five years and his wife’s a craftsperson, she manufactures bedspreads that are later sold to local vendors. Blanca helps cover household expenses with her income.
Clementino learned his occupation from his uncle that he worked with for several years. He then traveled to Argentina to work and that’s where he met his wife. After several years they returned with some capital they had saved up to buy the necessary tools to set up their own home-based shop.
At present, he’s working with a cousin that he’s teaching the occupation to and that he pays a salary to as well. He currently has a well-established clientele thanks to the good service and quality of his work.
Clementino is asking for the loan to buy raw materials, like paint for example, that’s a necessary ingredient for his profession. He thanks the Fundación for the opportunity it provides for him.
