A loan helped to buy fabric and slippers.

Sunnah's story

Sunnah is 36 years old, married, and has three children aged 15, 11 and 8 years. In 2000, Sunnah established a business selling fabric and slippers. She chose to sell fabric because she thinks it's something that is always marketable, and she had already gained similar experience working with her elder sister.

Sunnah works six days a week, nine hours a day, and earns about 1,200,000 Sierra Leonian leones (Le) every month. Sunnah has already received and successfully repaid two loans, and is now asking for a loan of 5,000,000 Le in order to buy more fabric and slippers. She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profits by approximately 300,000 Le.

In future, Sunnah plans to add more goods to her shop. She has already opened another outlet for her younger brother, and she has bought a piece of land with the proceeds of her previous loan. She has been able to take care of her family's needs, and she thanks you for your support
