49 year old Oscar lives with his partner and two children, who are 15 and 20 years old, in the city of Cartagena de Indias. The city is also called "The Heroic City" or "Corralito" because a wall was built around the city to make it impassable, and, although the wall was breached by canons, the city was never taken. Every corner in the city has its story.
Oscar has been working with computers ever since he arrived from Peru, a bordering country. When he arrived in Colombia and settled in Cartegena, he decided to use his experience and open a business called "Internet Services and PC Maintenance Cyber-Peru".
His first challenge was getting his business known, and this cost him a little work. Put, he gradually built things up and he currently offers a consulting service to others who want to work in this field.
He is very enthusiastic about his business growth, but his working capital isn't enough for him to renovate the computers that he has. This is why he came to Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to request his first Kiva loan, with which he plans to buy computers and accessories for renovating the ones he already has.
