Amelia is from Tecpatan, in the state of Chiapas, México. She is married and caring for one son, named Luis Enrique, who is eight years old.
She dedicates herself to buying and selling farm and ranch chickens, to later sell them in pieces from the same location where she lives. She has been doing this activity for one year and four months, and comments that things are going well and it has generated a good income.
What inspired her was her friend who gives her the chickens in order to help with sales; she wants to have her own income so she can give what’s most needed to her family.
Her wish is that, with this small activity, she can have her own income to get ahead with her family.
