Mujeres Al Desarrollo Group's story

The Mujeres al Desarrollo ("Women Development") Community Bank is found located in the Canaria community, in the district of the same name. It's beginning its sixth cycle with 13 member, who have diverse businesses. Luisa is a member of the community bank, is married and has two daughters who are 24 and 26 years old and study at universities in the capital. While her family is based in Lima, Luisa has been dedicated to selling food for various years in Canaria so she can accompany her father who is elderly and refuses to travel. Luisa hates to be separated from her family and misses them constantly. She fights to get ahead and feels supported by the loans that she obtains through Finca Peru. Luisa is requesting a loan to buy groceries for her food business. Luisa's dream is that her daughters become professionals.
