Simon has been an ACB customer since 2011 and is a member of the Agatinde group. He was born in Rwanda and attended primary school for eight years. He is married, 30 years old and has three children between one and twelve years old, two of whom attend school. He is a rice grower by trade. This is the first loan that he has sought and he will use it to pay labour costs and to purchase chemical fertiliser. His plan is to follow the necessary steps and to harvest his crops during the correct seasons so that he can boost production further. In future he would like to extend the area of land that he cultivates.
