29-year old Miguel G. lives in his own house with his wife and young daughter. He is a hardworking man who gets up early every morning full of hope and joy to go to work. His job is transporting cargo such as stones, sand, earth etc. He’s been doing this work for many years and it has become his main source of income.
His family is everything to him, and it is for them that he works very hard to give them what they deserve. Miguel recently decided to seek a loan from Kiva partner Integral to spend some money on his truck which has deteriorated through extensive use. He wishes to give it a good service so that it lasts a long time in good condition. The money will be used to buy parts such as a battery, tires, and other items needed to sort out the engine problems. By doing this maintenance Miguel hopes to continue working so he can provide a better quality of life for himself and his beloved family.
