William M., a 36-year-old married father of four children aged 12, 14, 16 and 9 years, has been selling shoes in the Kangemi area for the last 13 years, earning a monthly income of Kenya shillings 24,000.
William is now applying for his second loan from KADET with which he plans to purchase more shoes for resale. He hopes to use the anticipated extra income to pay school fees for his children. His dream is to be a supplier of shoes to other retail shoe dealers.
