A loan helped to purchase bundles of cloth and sacks of charcoal.

Mulombi's story

Mulombi is a married woman with two children, both of whom attend school. She lives at a rental house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.

She operates a tailoring business, selling at retail to her neighbours and passersby. In addition she has a charcoal business which contributes another source of income. Mulombi faces a major challenge of transportation in her business. She dreams of expanding her business in the future.

With the 20,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) she wants to purchase bundles of cloth materials and sacks of charcoal. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
