A loan helped to buy calves.

Phương's story

At 30 years old, Ms. Phương lives with her family in Triệu Sơn, supporting two young children. Her eldest is 11 years old and in 5th grade while her youngest is 6 and in 1st grade.

She has been farming for over eight years and also works as a hired vendor for local households. However, the inconsistency of her work makes it difficult to sustain her family, with a monthly income of just $290.

This is her first time borrowing from Thanh Hóa MFI, with hopes of using the loan to purchase the calves. Living in a mountainous area allows her to source natural food for the livestock, reducing feed costs. She believes that if her cattle grow well, she can sell them at a high price to traders, improving her family's financial stability. One of her biggest challenges is that her products often sell for low prices, making it hard to generate a stable income.

In the future, she dreams of a healthy, happy family, a better livelihood, and the ability to invest in tools and equipment to further develop her business.
