A loan helped to buy seedlings and fertilizers.

Bình's story

In Cẩm Thủy district, Ms. Bình, a 38-year-old woman from an ethnic minority group, is working hard to support her family. She is married and has two school-aged children; her eldest is 14 years old and in middle school, while her younger child, aged 12, is also in middle school.

Currently, the family's main income comes from Ms. Bình’s work as a domestic helper for local households. However, her earnings are unstable, placing her family in the low-income group in the area.

Since 2018, she has taken multiple loans from Thanh Hóa MFI, which have helped improve her family's financial situation. With this sixth loan, she hopes to invest in seedlings and fertilizers to ensure a successful harvest and increase her income.

Ms. Bình faces challenges due to her home’s remote location, making access to markets and services difficult. Looking to the future, she dreams of a healthier and happier family. She hopes to save enough to build a new house and sell her agricultural products at better prices to improve their living conditions.
