This group was created in 2008 and is composed of 3 members, all of whom live in the same village and work together. Madam Hadjaratou, pictured above to the right with her hand raised, is the group representative.
Hadjaratou is 52 years old and married, as well as the mother of five children, including three girls. Hadjaratou, like the other group members, works in commerce. She sells peanut butter and palm oil, and benefits from several years of experience. Her business is well-known and liked by her clientele.
Hadjaratou will use this loan to stock up on merchandise from the surrounding villages and resells to the women in her local community. Her income allows her to cover daily expenses like food, as well as fund her daughter's education.
