A loan helped to buy farm inputs.

Charity's story

Charity is a 23-year-old woman. She is married and has one child, aged 3, who is in nursery school. In the picture, Charity is standing at her house.

Charity has been a maize farmer for 3 years. She enjoys farming because she is always busy in the field monitoring her crops, and farming is profitable. The new loan from the FIFAD program will help her buy inputs like fertilizer and seeds for cropping. This effort will help her increase yields, so she will have enough maize for her family and for her business.

The profits from this business will help her support her children with all their basic needs, and some will help her buy land for farming.

This loan is special because:
