A loan helped to purchase more quintals of corn and a stove for her business making and selling tortillas.

Maria Luz's story

María is 42 years old, studied up to the first grade, is married, and her spouse works as a day laborer. She has three children who are students. They live together.

María works making and selling tortillas. For seven years, she has been working at the labor she learned from her mother. She has the business located at her house and her work schedule is from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

She will use the loan to purchase more quintals of corn and a stove for her business making and selling tortillas.

María dreams of increasing her tortilla sales, improving her income to pay off the loan easily, and improving her living conditions.
