Gs Margarita Group's story

47 year old Christiana, a Haitian national, is currently single. She is an enterprising woman; her lack of any formal education has not kept her from reaching her goals. Christiana arrived in the Dominican Republic 30 years ago in search of a better life and future. She has been a vendor for 21 years and currently sells sugar, pigeon peas, cooking oil, yuca, flour, vegetables, coffee, salt, soap and other basic necessities from a stall in her house. With this loan she plans to buy more stock for her business, adding to product variety, growing her business, satisfying her customers' demands and generating more income.
Christiana is the group coordinator and this is her 20th loan from AEI. She dreams of owning her own house. Thank you for supporting Christiana and Margarita mutual aid society.
