A loan helped to add stock to her business.

Night's story

Meet Night, a refugee mother to six children, five of whom are school-going and live with her in Yumbe. She is a farmer who grows cassava, groundnuts, beans and maize. Besides farming, she also rears goats and chickens. However, her main economic activity is food selling; she has a restaurant.

The customers are many, but she cannot sell as much as she would like due to the little stock she has. This has not discouraged her but instead she has continued working harder. Her business is getting better and better each time and she is able to serve her customers a variety of dishes since she now understands her business much better and she is also now selling dry food.

She would like to add stock to the business so that she is able to expand more and pay school fees. Her dream is to build houses for rent. She is very glad for all the support that VisionFund and Kiva have given her to be a better person.

This loan is special because:
