Zhanat's story

Zhanat, a 58-year-old former pediatrician, lives in Semey with her son Bakytzhan, who teaches at a private school. Their family maintains warm and supportive relationships.

After graduating from medical school, Zhanat worked as a pediatrician; however, in 2000, she transitioned to business. Her late husband provided the initial capital to help her start her venture.

Today, Zhanat runs a successful business at the local market, where she sells various items tailored to the seasons: felt boots, woolen goods made from camel fur in winter, and lightweight slippers, caps, and socks in summer. Her high-quality products and excellent customer service have earned her a loyal customer base, contributing to steady earnings.

With additional funding, Zhanat aims to expand her inventory and further develop her business, ensuring continued success and providing for her family.
