A loan helped to fix her small chicken coop and buy chicks for her inventory, contributing to food security in rural Panama.

Victoria's story

Meet Victoria!

She is a very industrious and self-motivated Panamanian who lives in the rural community of La Candelaria, West Panama. She has been dedicated to agriculture for her entire life and is planning to fix her small chicken coop to provide affordable and healthy protein for her community.

Today Victoria is applying for a Kiva loan to fix the infrastructure of her small chicken coop and buy a round of chicks. She is aiming to satisfy the demand for affordable meat in her community and support her family.

Thank you for contributing to the economic growth and success of women farmers like Victoria who have been historically excluded from basic financial services!

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable women in Central America by extending access to financial services.
