A loan helped to buy acacia seedlings and fertilizer for her plantation.

Khuyến's story

Khuyến is 52 years old, married, and her children are now grown and independent. She is a member of an ethnic minority group in Vietnam. Khuyến and her family reside in a rural area of Cẩm Thủy District, where they have lived for many years. She works as a farmer, a role she has dedicated herself to for over a decade. With 10 years of experience in agriculture, she has developed skills in planting and harvesting crops. Despite her hard work, Khuyến’s family is categorized as a low-income household in the region, often facing financial challenges.

This is the first time Khuyến is applying for a loan with Thanh Hóa MFI. She plans to use the funds to invest in acacia seedlings and fertilizer to grow trees. These resources will be carefully cultivated for timber and sustainable products. By growing trees, she not only aims to enhance her family’s income but also to contribute positively to the environment by improving air quality and supporting reforestation efforts.
