Suraifa, a 41-year-old married woman from Kishanganj district, Bihar, supports her family through her husband’s paddy-selling business, their sole source of income. To expand their business, Suraifa and her village friends have applied for a group loan of INR 280,000 through Grameen Shakti, a partner of Milaap. She plans to use her share of the loan to increase the stock and variety of paddy, hoping to attract more customers and boost their income.
