Elvia Evangelina's story

Elvia, age 34, attended school up to sixth grade. She is single and lives with her son and her parents.

When she was very young, Elvia learned to work. Her parents taught her to grow basic grains and vegetables. In later years, she sold telephones. Now she raises chickens to sell, and travels four days per week to sell the vegetables that she grows.

She needs the loan to buy agricultural supplies such as fertilizers and pesticides to apply to the crops of vegetables she will sell.

Elvia dreams of having a house in better condition.
