A loan helped to furnish her beauty salon, purchase mirrors, chairs and a refrigerator to sell soft drinks to her customers.

Christine's story

Christine is a married woman with four children, three of whom attend school while one is still too young for school. They own a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are school fees and transport costs.

For the past four years, she has operated a beauty salon business which has improved her living standards. Her clients are her neighbours and passersby. Christine faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. She dreams of owning a well-furnished beauty salon and a cosmetic shop in the future.

With the Kshs 60,000 she wants to furnish her beauty salon, purchase mirrors, chairs and a refrigerator to sell soft drinks to her customers. She decided to work with Yehu to access loans to uplift her business standard.
