A loan helped to purchase high-quality acacia seedlings for replanting.

Nga's story

Mrs. Nga, a 39 year-old woman, is married and a member of an ethnic minority community living in the mountainous Ngọc Lặc district. She and her husband work hard to make ends meet. Her husband is a manual laborer, while Mrs. Nga manages both farming and domestic work to improve their family income.

Despite their challenges, Mrs. Nga takes pride in her family. Her children are grown, with her youngest, aged 15, still attending school. To secure a better future for her family, Mrs. Nga has been cultivating acacia trees for timber while also working as a domestic helper. Recently, she harvested timber from her acacia trees, providing a much-needed boost to her family’s finances.

To continue this sustainable farming practice, Mrs. Nga is seeking her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI. She plans to use the loan to purchase high-quality acacia seedlings for replanting. With a vision for the future, she hopes to harvest the new trees in five years. This will not only enhance her family’s income but also contribute to sustainable agriculture in her community.
