A loan helped a member to buy materials for crafts.

Somos Una En Jesus Group's story

Rocío is a member of the credit group "Somos Una en Jesús" and specializes in selling crafts, a business she operates both from her home and as a mobile vendor. Through this venture, she generates the income needed to support her family of four. While her business initially started small and was limited, the support she received from her credit group enabled her to improve her offerings and increase her sales.

Her dream is to have a larger space where she can display her crafts in a more organized and professional manner, attracting more customers and providing a better shopping experience. Rocío believes that with hard work, dedication, and the continued support of her credit group, she will achieve this goal--further growing as an entrepreneur, ensuring her family’s well-being, and offering unique products that reflect her talent and passion for crafting.

With her current loan, she plans to invest in materials such as slippers, pearls, half-pearls, gourds, straws, soft wire, waxed thread, and pens to continue creating her products.

Other members of the group engage in various businesses, including selling bows, flowers, fruits, and clothing, as well as operating ventures such as grocery stores and hair salons.

In this group: Cecilia Maria Leonor, Daniela, Lilian Aldamina, Rocio Jacinta, Estelvina, Carolina Elizabeth, Lucia Concepcion, Norma Dorotea, Camila Tahiz, Veronica Beatriz, Liz Veronica, Fatima Mabel, Rosana Mabel, Antonia Maria Paz, Gricelda Estefani, Milagros Monserrath
