Antonio's story

Meet Antonio !

Antonio lives in the rural farming community of Curtí, a town formed by indigenous Embera, Guna and hispanic descent inhabitants. Curtí's economic activity is agriculture. Most people farm cassava, plantain, avocado, coffee and fruits.

Antonio is a multi-faceted entrepreneur. He works fixing truck engines, raises pigs and is opening a carwash for a living with the support of his beloved wife.

He's taken a Kiva loan before and has always paid his obligations on time.

Antonio is applying for a Kiva loan to finish building a carwash. He has started this business recently and the demand continues to grow. He plans to invest in the infrastructure needed to be able to provide this service to his community.

In this photo Antonio is with his life and business partner Maria.
