The group “Felinas” is made up of women micro-entrepreneurs who seek to improve their quality of life. In the neighborhood where they live, living conditions are of an average level. Through their businesses, they aim to generate resources to invest and grow their ventures.
One example is Mrs. María, 45 years old, with three school-aged children. She continues buying and selling basic household goods and runs a small grocery store out of her home. This activity has allowed her to generate income to support her family’s expenses.
With her previous loan, she purchased more merchandise to offer a greater variety of products to her customers.
María continues working so that in the future she can expand her home and enlarge her store.
The rest of the group consists of Mrs. Erika, Marisol, Ofelia, Juana, Gabriela, Sandra, and Monica—women who, alongside their families, strive to move forward.
