A loan helped to purchase merchandise.

Clemencia Emma's story

Clemencia is a hard-working, strong, 38-year-old single mother who lives with her three children in a small rented house in the north of the city. As both father and mother to her children, she has striven to give them a good education so that they can become great professionals.

Clemencia's livelihood is the sale of clothes of all kinds, which she has been doing for more than 13 years. From this business, she earns the income with which she covers all her needs. Clemencia is aware that a high season is approaching and she has come to the Kiva organization to ask for financial help to buy merchandise that will allow her to stock up. With the stock, along with her low prices and kindness in attending her clients, she hopes to have a greater flow of sales.

Her future goal is to have a vehicle with which to transport her merchandise, as well as to build her own house.
