A loan helped to add stock to her business.

Satina's story

Satina is a refugee mother of 4 children who all are school going and stay with her in Moyo, which is in the West Nile region of Uganda. She is a much better person; she is a businesswoman who has a retail shop that sells a variety of goods. Through this she provides basic needs for her family.

With the addition of more goods, she will be able to sell more, since she already has very many customers, but her stock is not much. Her business is much better now and she knows what she wants to stock more of, since the Christmas season is around the corner.

She will be able to boost her sales, pay school fees, and offer her family a better life. Today she is a much better person.

She is very glad for all the support that VisionFund and Kiva have given her.

This loan is special because:

It helps refugees in Uganda rebuild and sustain their livelihoods.
