A loan helped to buy pigs.

Patricia's story

Meet Patricia, a refugee mother to four children who all are school going and stay with her in Yumbe, which is in the West Nile region of Uganda.

Patricia is a good person; she is a farmer who grows cassava, millet, and sorghum. Besides the farming, she also rears pigs.

She would like to add more piglets to the current ones she has. She has plans of selling some of the much older ones and then also starting a pork roasting business.

She will be able to boost her sales, pay school fees for her children, and offer her family a better life. Today, she is a much better person.

She is very glad for all the support that VisionFund and Kiva have given her.
