A loan helped to buy seedlings, organic composts, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs.

Dominga Maricela's story

This is Dominga, a woman with an easygoing, kind, and cheerful personality. She lives with her daughter, who is already of legal age and works with her to maintain their home. Together they live in a humble small house of wood and cement which, through much hard work, they built.

Dominga has engaged in growing cacao for a few years. She started with just a few plants. Today, she has a hectare planted, and she plans to plant more on a further extension of land.

Thus, she is requesting a loan to buy seedlings, organic composts, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs, with which she hopes to very carefully maintain her plants free of pests and more with the loving care that she puts into every one of her crops. She is keenly aware that this is her livelihood and the source of income that provides everything for her home.
