A loan helped a member to buy supplies for her fast food business.

Mas Que Vencedores Group's story

Liz is a mother of three children and an active member of the Communal Bank “Más Que Vencedores”. She sells fast food from a stall as a street vendor. Liz started this business so that she could cover her household expenses and take care of her children. Even though she did not have the initial resources to invest in a business, Liz joined the group so that she could obtain seed capital. Since then, her business has improved.

Her dream is to leave this business as a legacy to her children. Liz enjoyed taking a course in sales strategy, which helped her to grow the business and increase her profits. With effort and vision, she seeks to provide a more stable future for her family. Liz will use her portion of this loan to buy flour, propane, vegetables, baked goods, beef, chicken, hamburger meat, condiments, and other ingredients for preparing her dishes.

Other members of the group sell clothes, sell food, make ice cream, operate tailoring shops, manage convenience stores, and run other businesses.

In this group: Mercedes, Maria Concepcion, Estanislaa Domitila, Gregoria Isabel, Maria Lidia, Mirtha Liliana, Epifania, Gladys Victoria, Gladys Carmen, Francisca Elizabeth, Liz Rocio, Judith Milagros, Fabiola Noemi, Sintia Maria, Maria Lujan, Lizet Karine
