Leidy is an enterprising woman and dedicated mother who found in her business selling clothing and shoes a way to improve her family's quality of life.
Forming part of the loan group Las Guapas was key to starting her undertaking, as previously she worked in customer service at a shopping center, where she acquired the skills she now applies to her own business. The change in her life was noticeable. Now she is capable of generating her own income, which gives her stability and the drive to get ahead. She dreams of having her own retail space and a car which would make her work and transporting her child so much easier, goals which allow her to envision a more prosperous future.
With the current loan, she plans to invest in athletic shoes, sandals, shoes, children's outfits, jeans, t-shirts, cotton shorts, and medium-sized bags.
Other group members work selling ice cream, ice, cosmetics, meals, refilling phone balances, have a store, and other businesses.
