A loan helped to pay for new stock needed in her retail store.

Hannah's story

Seventy-four-year-old Hannah is a business woman and married mother of eight adult children. She lives with her husband in a rural community south of Efate, which is about 15 minutes from town. Her husband helps her with the business. She currently makes a living by managing a small retail store.

Hannah launched her business two years ago with the aim of meeting her family's basic household fundamental requirements. Her dream is to develop her business and sustain it. At the moment, she wants to increase her stock supply to match consumer demand. However, she is financially strained.

She is requesting a loan to purchase new stocks. With the business earnings, she will cover household bills and save for her future plans. Through this loan, she is empowered to grow her business, provide quality service to her customers and secure a better future for her family.
