A loan helped a member to stock up on fresh fish, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Mali/ Baco Group's story

Madame Solange is a client with IMF Hekima and she is the president of the “Mali Baco” group. She is a widow, 46 years old, and the mother of 6 children, who are all in school.

She sells fresh fish. She started her business 8 years ago with starter funds from her deceased husband. Later, she chose the Hekima program to support her business, during which she has gradually progressed.

With this new loan, she will stock up on fresh fish, which will strengthen her initial capital. The difficulties with her work are related to the rate of the dollar.

She would like her children to continue to study and she would like to continue to develop her business. Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and their partners for their support of unbankable entrepreneurs.

In this group: Honorine, Solange, Noella, Bahindwa, Bakengeza
