A loan helped to buy eggs and soft drinks.

Hawah's story

Hawah B. is 40 years old and lives in the town of West Point. She is single and has three sons aged 24, 14 and 8; all three are attending school.

Since 1993 she has been selling soft drinks, water, chicken balls, and eggs around the market. She started with coal and then started trying other products. Her favorite part of the year is the dry season (from late October through May) because it's the time when she makes more money that allows her to send her children to school.

Hawah is requesting a loan to buy two cartons of eggs, four crates of soft drinks and other products to sell. She wants to grow and improve her business and become an international businesswoman.
