Duterintambwe Cb Group's story

Pelagie is a 44-year-old mother of seven children, aged between 4 and 24 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past four years, she has been selling green bananas.

Pelagie is the leader of the group called Duterintambwe CB, which means “let us develop" in English. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Pelagie will use her loan to buy more green bananas to sell within her community and meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to pay school fees for her children.
